Consultancy and Facilitation
The Craighead Institute has been providing consultancy to individuals, groups, organisations and congregations for more than two decades.

At the Institute we believe that there are critical moments in the life of an organisation or congregation, often at times of growth or decline, conflict, leadership transition or change in the external environment. If such moments are handled well, organisations and congregations can emerge renewed and revitalised, if not, they can be left confused and struggling with unhealthy practices.

Our approach
The Institute has developed an approach to consultancy which is both participative and systemic. It draws on a range of theoretical approaches and includes an exploration and analysis of experience, a process of discernment and clear action planning.

The Institute's approach to facilitation is to encourage a spirit of enquiry within groups. We believe that organisations hold within them the resources to make 'good' decisions. Institute facilitators seek to create safe environments where people can tap into these resources, work together on an agreed task and be effective in the roles.

Our consultants
The Institute's consultants can and have provided invaluable support and direction to organisations going through change, using a range of creative approaches to build safe spaces for people to work together on real challenges; to help them fact tough choices and to support them while they take action.

Our consultants are all well-trained, highly-skilled and very experienced. They have experience of working with faith based and secular organisations. They work in English, French, Spanish and Italian and are experienced in working through simultaneous translation when necessary.
