Recent News from the Craighead Institute includes

  • Receiving the Mentoring Business Project of the Year award from Scottish Mentoring Network for our work in providing one-to-one coaching and mentoring support for twenty-one small and medium enterprises (SME's) in the voluntary and faith sector across Scotland
  • Supporting the Chance to Thrive Project - one of our associates Ian McKenzie is working as a volunteer client mentor on this innovative project which will support 8 congregations in some of the poorest communities in Scotland to develop their own initiatives in partnership with others in their communities. The Institute is actively exploring other ways in which we can support this exciting work
  • Time away; the Ignatian Retreat in September 2011 for staff, directors and associates and the subsequent development of new structure to lead the Craighead Institute in the coming years
  • Working for Oxfam on the Humankind Index which included collaborating with the New Economics Foundation, the University of Glasgow and Northern Star
  • Delivering a 9 month Management Development programme with North London Hospice
  • Welcoming 8 new graduates from our Diploma in Consultancy and Facilitation
  • The arrival of our very own PhD; Pauline Petrie has been awarded her Doctorate by Glasgow University. Her thesis focused on the methodology of the Craighead Institute
